Bakersfield, CA, November 1st, 2016 – Mankind’s great “Garlic Peeling Problem” may have a solution, according to the Food Network’s Chopped Champion Chef James Major of Cincinnati, Ohio. Executive Chef of the Cincinnati Red’s, Food Network’s Chopped Champion, National TV shows, stories, fabulous food and awards flow when chef James Major takes center stage, and now he is pairing up with the Bakersfield, CA -based Naked Garlic, Inc. to sing the praises of the Company’s specialized garlic tools. Naked Garlic’s newest kitchen gadget, a patent-pending garlic peeler, has rapidly become their flagship product.
Peeling garlic has never been easy and hands that tackle the task can acquire a case of “garlic stank”. The Naked Garlic Peeler is taking garlic preparation in a whole new “hands off” direction.
The Naked Garlic Peeler achieves hands-free results by first pressing down the lid of the Naked Garlic Peeler to loosen the cloves free from a full bulb of garlic. The process takes just a few seconds and relies on a hidden part of the tool that is literally “under the hood”. The underside of the shaker lid has been spiked to quickly separate the garlic cloves from the bulb and start loosening the papery skin that holds cloves together.
The lid is pressed down with just enough pressure to break the bulb apart. Once separated, the cloves are tossed into the shaker, the lid is closed and the container is shaken to further loosen the peelings. Vi’aula, the garlic cloves are peeled and no stinky fingers. “It’s about how you would shake a cocktail shaker for about 15 seconds; that’s all it takes,” said Richard Poe for Naked Garlic. “When you pour the cloves back out, the skins have been peeled off. "The spikes on the lid continue working as you shake it – like you mean it,” he said.
Reviewers have praised the peeler as a multipurpose kitchen tool. After use, it doubles as a beautiful storage container. Poe says, “Why store your unused garlic in a plastic bag, stuffed into the back of your refrigerator, only to find it six months later with fur on it?” Buyers have also commented that the high-end looks are easy on the eye; Naked Garlic designed the stainless steel peeler with several color choices with a polished finish to store your unused garlic and stay on display on your kitchen counter. Your friends will be impressed!
Naked Garlic has been selling garlic presses, garlic rockers and garlic roller tubes for preparing garlic, but the new Naked Garlic Peeler is moving the small California Company into a brighter spotlight. According to Poe, the Company is in talks with several high-end outlets and will be doing product demos and guest appearances around the country.
Naked Garlic products are available on Amazon, e-Bay, Bonanza and Open-Sky.
